The Evans Family Scholarship Fund is designed to financially assist young Evans Family descendants pursuing a degree in a higher learning institution. The program focuses on young family members of outstanding promise who seek to become leaders in business, education, government, and a wide spectrum of professions.

We would like for 2011 to be the first year of implementation of the Evans Family Scholarship. Our goal is to award a minimum of a $250.00 scholarship which will be designated to a deserving youth in need of financial assistance.

If more family members participate in paying their reunion fees, this scholarship could possibly be a higher amount, it's up to YOU! Your concern and support for the future of our children will determine your response to the financial obligations that have been set for all family members.

Note: Scholarship funds are guaranteed for only one year and a person must re-apply each year to receive financial assistance.

Requirements

1. Descendant of the Evans Family Lineage

2. Minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 or better

3. Proof of Enrollment (validated schedule) or acceptance letter to a college/university

4.Writing Sample (Essay)

5.Official Transcript

6. ACT or SAT scores
